· Advising local hotel owners in reviewing and negotiation of Hotel Management Contracts, Trademark Licence Agreement, and Technical Assistance Agreements with foreign operators such as Melia, Oakwood, TAUZIA, Dusit, Bangkok Bespoke Hospitality, and Frasers Hospitality.

Advising the Vietnamese subsidiary of a German specialty chemicals company on non-disclosure agreement.

· Advising Vinfast, a Vietnamese automobile manufacturer, in reviewing and negotiating all important contracts for the manufacturing and sale of Vinfast Fadil cars in Vietnam including CKD import agreements, master technology licence agreement, distribution agreement, and product responsibility contract.

· Advising Vietnam Grand Prix in all important contracts for the construction, development, and operation of Formula 1 events in Hanoi including template procurement contracts, ticketing system, sponsorship contracts, ticket terms and conditions.

· Advising Vietnam Grand Prix in reviewing and negotiating with Formula 1 regarding the race promotion contract, circuit rights agreement, and transmission rights for the hosting of Formula 1 races in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Employment matters

We advise on all employment matters including internal labour rules, work permits for foreign workers, dismissal, overtime, and overseas Vietnamese workers.

· Advising on salary advance to employees.

· Various companies on early termination of employment contracts due to internal restructuring.

· Assisting a Japanese company in an internal investigation case.

· Reviewing and revising internal labour rules for foreign-invested companies.

Environment matters

We advise all aspects of Vietnamese environment regulations including EIAR compliance, solid waste treatment, wastewater treatment, toxic waste treatment.

· Reviewing the compliance with environmental regulations of various projects (including projects manufacturing printed circuit boards; manufacturing and processing of voice coils, speaker components, and audio devices; real estate project in industrial zones).

· Advising a Korea-based company [CJ Logistics Corporation] on environment regulations under Vietnamese laws relating to its proposed investment in, operation in and exit from logistics business in Vietnam.

· Advising Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Company during the environment inspection conducted by the Government relating to the large environment incident in 2016. (*)

Anti-bribery and corruption

We advise foreign-invested companies on Vietnamese laws and regulations on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and gift-giving.

· Advising various Japanese companies and banks on anti-bribery and gift-giving regulations.

· Advising various US oil companies on anti-bribery and gift giving regulations for the purpose of FCPA compliance.

· Advising a Japanese manufacturing company against alleged bribery activities committed by its senior staff.

Advertising and promotion

We advise rules on advertising and promotion including those applicable to alcoholic drinks, or drugs.

· Advising Vietnam Grand Prix regarding advertising and promotion of various products during Formula 1 race events in Hanoi.
