We are not professional litigators who know the ins and outs of court or arbitration proceedings, but we can effectively assist professional litigators especially those involved in international arbitration to build their arguments and formulate their strategies with our in-depth knowledge of local issues both in law and practice. Our team has accumulated decades of experiences in helping our clients in navigating the legal and regulatory landscape in Vietnam. In doing so, we help our clients to identify and mitigate potential issues which could arise from their business or transactions. We found that the same skills could be used to collect evidence, identify, and develop wining arguments in complicated commercial disputes.
We can also help Vietnamese clients to select and work with foreign counsels in international arbitration proceedings.
Experiences
Acting as the instructing and co-counsel for a Vietnamese technology company in defending various warranties claims under a Share Purchase Agreement by two Korean buyers at Singapore International Arbitration Center.
Acting as co-counsel for a foreign investor on two parallel international arbitration proceedings against a large State-owned enterprise. We assisted the client in successfully reaching a settlement agreement with more than US$ 400 million.
Acting as lead-counsel for a Vietnamese company on defending a breach of contract claims by foreign suppliers in an arbitration proceeding at Vietnam International Arbitration Center.
Advising an UK bank on defending a class action claims by overseas Vietnamese in the US regarding deposits kept by the UK bank’s branches in Ho Chi Minh City before 1975.
