New Partner and Associates Announcement
In January 2024, Nguyen Bich Ngoc was promoted to the position of partner at Venture North Law (VNLaw). Ngoc, who is VNLaw's first associate, brings over 10 years of experience in real estate, corporate, and M&A practices. Ngoc has worked on important transactions and matters for large clients such as Vingroup, BW Industrial Development (a joint venture between Warburg Pincus and Becamex IDC Group), and Formosa Ha Tinh Steel. Alongside this promotion, Nguyen Hoang Duong and Ha Thanh Phuc have also been promoted to the position of associates.
At VNLaw, each lawyer undergoes an annual review and internal grading process based on a 10-point scale. Seven points are allocated to legal skills, covering areas such as research, advice, drafting, negotiation, and English proficiency. The remaining three points are dedicated to assessing management and business development skills. A crucial aspect to note is that lawyers who achieve a minimum of five points are eligible for partnership at VNLaw.
